What is next?

The next step to improve or projects in Blender is applying materials and

textures to the objects. Using materials, we can give a visual context to

3D models and greatly increase a scene's realism. In Blender, you will

find several controls that will allow you to create realistic materials.

You will learn how to apply and manage materials for rendering in the

next chapter. We will learn how to use textures that work in both Eevee

and Cycles.

From simple materials that use a standard shader, we jump straight to

PBR materials that use a mix from multiple textures to create realistic

surfaces. You will learn all the tools required to start making materials for

your projects.
